Summary of Position: The Director of Dual Enrollment Programs provides leadership and oversight to administer, enhance, and expand the dual/concurrent enrollment and early/middle college programs. This individual will build relationships with high schools and career centers throughout the state, partner with deans, department chairs, and faculty to address student and school district needs, and implement marketing and promotional strategies to ensure participation. The Director will also provide admission and registration support services at off-campus sites and oversee orientation and administrative support for students and faculty.

The anticipated start date for this position is May 2026. However, this is an estimated date and can be revised if needed.

Required Education: A master’s degree in education, higher education administration, or a related field.  
Required Work Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in education administration, with a focus on dual enrollment or similar programs.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Program Development and Management:
- Develop, implement, and oversee dual enrollment programs in collaboration with high schools and career centers.
- Ensure dual enrollment programs meet academic standards and university requirements.
- Create and maintain program policies, procedures, and guidelines in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Conduct needs assessments specific to dual enrollment, concurrent enrollment, and early/middle college programs in collaboration with local educational and governmental agencies, businesses, and community service groups.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate processes and strategic initiatives that support high school student participation, program growth, marketing, and effective administration of dual enrollment programs.

Partnership and Collaboration:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with high schools, career centers, and other educational partners.
- Collaborate with university faculty and departments to align dual enrollment programs courses with the university curriculum.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the university and partner institutions to promote dual enrollment program initiatives.
- Develop relationships within and outside the university to sustain student recruitment and outreach partnerships.
- Coordinate with academic departments and other campus units to meet instructional and student support needs for dual enrollment programs.

Student Recruitment and Support:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract high school students to dual enrollment programs.
- Oversee the advising process for dual enrollment students, ensuring they receive guidance on academic planning and career goals.
- Coordinate student support services, including orientation, academic support, and tutoring for dual enrollment students.
- Develop and manage recruitment efforts with student services and academic departments, ensuring planning and implementation of strategies to meet enrollment goals.
- Develop and deliver orientations and meetings for new instructors, facilitators, students, and parents.

Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Utilize data to assess the effectiveness of dual enrollment programs and make data-driven decisions for program improvement.
- Prepare and present reports on program outcomes, student performance, and enrollment trends to university leadership.
- Monitor and analyze student progress and success rates, providing recommendations for enhancing student outcomes.

Communication and Outreach:
- Develop and implement communication plans to promote dual enrollment programs to students, parents, and educators.
- Organize and participate in events, workshops, and presentations to raise awareness of dual Enrollment opportunities.
- Maintain an updated and informative web presence for dual enrollment programs.
- Work cooperatively with marketing staff to develop and implement effective recruitment marketing strategies related to the university and the dual enrollment program.

Resource Management:
- Develop and manage the budget for dual enrollment programs.
- Allocate resources effectively to support program initiatives and achieve strategic objectives.
- Seek additional funding sources to initiate and administer grants as appropriate.

Compliance and Accreditation:
- Ensure dual enrollment programs comply with institutional policies, accreditation standards, and state and federal regulations.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of required reports to relevant authorities

Leadership and Team Development:
- Supervise and mentor staff involved in dual enrollment programs.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that promotes professional growth and development.
- Lead professional development opportunities for staff to stay current with best practices in dual enrollment programs and secondary education.

- Cultivates an environment of belonging that values, respects, supports, and celebrates individual similarities and differences, allowing students, faculty, and staff to thrive authentically.
- Support, promote, and develop university student enrollment and retention initiatives.
-Operates a university or personal vehicle safely while carrying out job responsibilities.
- Any other duties assigned within the position classification area.

Skills and Abilities: Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Strong understanding of dual enrollment programs, policies, and best practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Experience with data analysis and program assessment.
Experience with managing software systems related to student enrollment and data tracking.
Demonstrated successful experience working directly with people from diverse backgrounds, including cultural, educational, socioeconomic, and life experiences.
