Architecture Faculty - Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University (KCAD) is currently accepting applications for an Assistant Professor of Architecture in its Master of Architecture program. The program is seeking a term-appointed (temporary) full-time faculty member to teach design studios and courses on building systems integration, structures, environmental systems, and/or design communication. The term of the appointment is for the 2021-2022 academic year, with the possibility of renewal.

Advancement Coordinator - Grand Rapids Region – Ferris State University. This individual will report directly to and be responsible for providing administrative support to the Executive Director of Leadership Giving and Relationships – Grand Rapids region. This position requires a significant degree of independent decision-making, interacts with tact and diplomacy with the University community, donors, community members and other University constituents. 70-75% of position function will be done with a remote work environment, however this position requires attendance at events in Grand Rapids and Big Rapids areas. Flexibility of work schedule and location is expected. Adjunct Instructor 3 – Pharmacy Big Rapids, MI 49307
Individuals with experience in community pharmacy practice settings are encouraged to apply. The position requires community pharmacy expertise and passion for elevating the level of community pharmacy practice. Responsibilities consist of delivering didactic education within the experiential curriculum of an integrated Doctor of Pharmacy program primarily in the second and third professional years that includes, but is not limited to lectures, active learning, facilitated discussions and other instructional methods. The position will also be responsible for coordination of the direct patient care introductory pharmacy practice experience (IPPE) courses and the community pharmacy components of the experiential curriculum. Clinical practice opportunities may exist based on the interest of the individual and need of the department. Additionally, the individual will contribute to the Department, College, University and profession through various assignments including mentoring students. Required: PharmD with post-graduate residency. Post-graduate residency. Current licensure to practice pharmacy in the State of Michigan (reciprocation acceptable but necessary at date of hire).

Adjunct Instructor 1 - Mechanical Fluid Power with Controls – Ferris State University. Candidate should have real-world experience with the design, troubleshooting, and/or maintenance of industrial hydraulic and pneumatic systems that use ladder logic or similar control systems. The primary topics in the course include pumps, (cylinders and motors), motors, and control valves (pressure, flow and directional). Required: BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, or related Engineering or Engineering Technology required. Other BS with industrial certification in fluid power (hydraulic or pneumatic) will be considered. Five years of prior work experience in Mechanical Engineering Technology or closely related field.

Observe and evaluate student teachers in the field through 4 to 6 site visitations. Communicate and maintain positive relationships with Mentor Teachers. Interact with student teachers via Canvas online learning management system. Grade assignments such as the student teacher assessment analysis, weekly reflections, and portfolio. Complete evaluations for CAEP and HLC. Attend and present at School of Education training sessions, as needed. Attend and present at student teacher seminar nights. Part-Time PRN Big Rapids, MI 49307
Licensed RN to provide responsible care following the nursing process in a primary care setting to traditional college-aged population. Ferris State University is searching for a LPN or RN to oversee and manage the COVID Case Management in conjunction with Birkam Health Center, reporting to the Director of Health Services. This role will involve managing and communicating with students identified as COVID positive or as a contact to a positive case.
