Teach AAS degree level coursework in the College of Engineering Technology. Depending on qualifications, subjects taught could include manual drivelines, brakes, electrical, engines, steering and suspension, electronic fuel management, chassis electrical, automatic transmissions, heating ventilation and air conditioning, service area or automotive machining. A focus on student success is expected. Office hours are required with at least one hour for each class taught. Use of current technology is expected. This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis. This posting is used for face to face and/or online instruction. For in-person or hybrid teaching positions, candidates must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment. Courses are to be taught in person on Ferris State University’s Big Rapids campus. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment. For courses that are taught 100% online, the candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan, Illinois (excluding Chicago), Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, Ohio, or Wisconsin after acceptance of employment. The Department of Construction Technology & Management invites applications for a 9-month, tenured-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor Level. Primary responsibilities include teaching and advising students in a four-year BS Construction Management program (accredited by the American Council for Construction Education – ACCE) and in two separate two-year AAS programs – Building Construction Technology and Civil Engineering Technology. Teaching assignments will be from a wide range of construction technology and construction management topics. Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University's Campuses. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment. Adjunct instructors are needed to teach undergraduate business management courses as part of Ferris State University's Prison Education Program at Thumb Correctional Facility in Lapeer, Michigan. These positions require face-to-face instruction at the facility. This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis. This posting is being used for face-to-face instruction, and the candidate selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment. The anticipated start date of this position is May 2025 at the earliest and May 2026 at the latest. These are estimated dates that may be revised as needed to match part-of-term assignments. Required: A master's degree in business management or relevant discipline for the course. Successful candidates will need to complete a background check through LEIN, the Michigan Department of Corrections/MDOC Contractors training through Mi-TRAIN, and an on-site orientation. Assistant or Associate Professor/Program Director - Dental Therapy

12-month tenure-track faculty position (Assistant or Associate Professor), which includes teaching and related responsibilities in the newly developing Dental Therapy program and serving as Program Director to provide operational and program oversight, development and maintenance of internal and external relationships, and mentorship and support of new faculty with their academic and scholarly activities.
Responsibilities include developing the dental therapy curriculum, completing application to the specialized accrediting agency, providing instruction, and preparing, administering, and grading examinations; advising students on related academic matters; engaging in scholarly activities and professional development; and serving on departmental and faculty committees to promote curriculum development with the College of Health Professions. The anticipated start date of this position is May of 2025 at the earliest and August 2025 at the latest. However, this is an estimated date and can be revised if needed. Courses are to be taught in person at our main and extended Ferris State University Campuses. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment. Required: Graduate of a DDS or DMD program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation. Michigan Dental License or demonstrated ability to obtain a Michigan Dental license prior to employment. A minimum of five years of dental practice experience or a combination of dental practice and higher education experience. |

Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University (KCAD) in Grand Rapids, MI prepares artists and designers to have impact through practice. As a KCAD term appointment faculty member, you will engage in three kinds of professional development: continuous improvement in teaching effectiveness, creative and/or scholarly contribution within your discipline, and a college service commitment that includes committee work and community engagement for the advancement of KCAD’s mission. You will actively support student success by advising students regarding their academic plan and progress as well as their co-curricular and post-graduation opportunities. This is a full-time, term (temporary), non-tenure-track faculty appointment with the possibility of renewal. Courses are to be taught in person on KCAD’s campus in Grand Rapids. Teaching assignments for the fall 2025 semester may include subjects and skills such as product design studio, digital modeling (CAD), design drawing (visual presentation), metals/jewelry design, portfolio development, materials and processes, professional practices, foundation drawing, 3D foundations, or other digital foundations courses.
