The Desk Service Assistant (DSA) is a part-time student staff member of the Office of Housing and Residence Life. The DSA must live on campus and is preferred to live in the community in which they live. They work at the front desk of the building in which they live, or the front desk of the Office of Housing and Residence Life. |

Provide direct clinical supervision and instruction for students in the Baccalaureate Degree Nursing program as assigned within the acute care or community clinical setting. This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis. For in-person or hybrid teaching positions, candidates must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment. Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University’s campuses. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment. Required: Master of Science in Nursing; or Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing and graduate degree in nursing completed within two years of hire. Registered Nurse (RN) License in the State of Michigan. Two years of RN clinical experience through clinical practice or other avenues. |
Senior Laboratory Trainer

Classroom and small group instruction for proper laboratory procedures with the Institute for Construction Education (ICET). Monitor written and practical certification examinations. This position is also responsible for developing laboratory curriculum changes. These are pooled, part-time positions. One or more applicants may be hired as needed on a semester-by-semester basis. Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Current certifications appropriate to program assignment, such as Michigan Certified Aggregate Technician, Michigan Certified Bituminous Laboratory Technician, Level 1 and/or Michigan Certified Density Technician. Five years experience working in the road construction industry related to quality control of highway construction materials. Two years experience in a classroom laboratory setting as a trainer/instructor/monitor. |

The School of Education seeks candidates to teach on a semester-by-semester, as needed basis, in the areas of Early childhood (birth to 5 years), elementary education, and secondary education at one of Ferris State University's campuses. Candidates must be available to teach face-to-face and synchronous on-line courses during the hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, some evenings may be required. This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis. This posting is used for face to face and/or online instruction. The School of Design and Manufacturing invites applications for an adjunct faculty position in the Manufacturing Engineering Technology program. Position requires teaching undergraduate-level lecture and laboratory coursework in a "hands-on" academic environment. This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis. This posting is used for face to face and/or online instruction. Qualification by Tested Experience: BS Engineering or Engineering Technology and MS Engineering or Engineering Technology and three years hands-on experience in Manufacturing OR BS Engineering or Engineering Technology and MS (any) and six years hands-on experience in Manufacturing OR BS Engineering or Engineering Technology and 12 years hands-on experience in Manufacturing and a subject matter expert in an area relevant to Manufacturing.
