Electrical Supervisor– Ferris State University. Responsible for the 7200 volt distribution system. Supervise and coordinate work activities of the Electrical Department engaged in assembly, installation and repair of equipment related to electrical operations. Maintenance and renovation of University facilities including but not limited to, distribution systems, battery systems, emergency lighting systems, preventative maintenance, generators, etc. Serve as project manager providing oversight for contracted and in-house construction and renovation projects. The College of Engineering Technology (CET) at Ferris State University invites applicants for a tenure track position in the discipline of Electronics and Automation Engineering Technology (EAET). This position combines relevant experience in electronics and automation for a new program in the School of Engineering and Computing Technology (SECT). The successful candidate is expected to develop and teach courses, as well as develop and teach labs primarily focused, but not limited to automation, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), motors and variable frequency drives (VFDs), digital logic and communication networks for automation systems as well as other courses in relevant technological areas.
