Staff reporters are writers charged with generating story ideas and reporting on news, entertainment, culture, and/or sports stories. Working with their section editors, staff writers are responsible for providing breaking, generated, or assigned stories by the weekly deadline. They may be assigned a regular beat by their section editor. Staff writers also are responsible for improving the quality and content of copy they produce as directed by editorial staff. |
