Term of Position: Less than 9 month

Summary of Position: This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis. Provide face to face and online didactic instruction for students in the Bachelor of Science of Health Care Systems Administration program (traditional and long-term care tracks) as assigned in the College of Health Professions in Big Rapids.  
Position Type: Faculty - Temporary & Continuing  
Required Education: Master’s degree in health administration, health management, public health administration, business administration with health concentration or related.  
Required Work Experience: Minimum three years in health care administration or a health care leadership role.  
Required Licenses and Certifications:

Additional Education/Experiences to be Considered: Doctorate degree in health administration, health management, health sciences, public health, business, education or administration; Specialization and/or coursework in long-term care, health care law, accounting or health care finance; previous teaching experience.  
Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Provide face-to-face and online didactic instruction for students in the Bachelor of Science of Health Care Systems Administration program (traditional and long-term care tracks) as assigned in the College of Health Professions in Big Rapids.

Demonstrates an understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion, especially in working relationships with students, faculty, staff and community members.

Any other duties assigned within the position classification area.
