Summary of Position: Provide administrative, operational, and project support to meet the needs of units in Campus Auxiliary Services. This position requires and individual who is organized, energetic, and collaborative. Must be flexible with the ability to multi-task and willing to support department operations in a variety of ways. Strong interpersonal skills and good judgement are essential.

Required Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.  
Required Work Experience: Three years work experience in a college or office environment.

Additional Education/Experiences to be Considered: Experience with marketing or public relations.  
Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Provide first level support to visitors, callers, and others. Refer issues to the appropriate party.

Answer inquiries diplomatically from a variety of internal and external sources.

Use initiative and judgement while handling routine and administrative matters and confidentiality with sensitive matters and/or information.

Work with university and auxiliary specific systems such as Banner, Concur, and other supporting systems.

Assist with the operational processes, software applications, and activities associated with the units reporting to Campus Auxiliary Services.

Provide contract administration and support for the various auxiliary related contracts.
Schedule meetings and manage calendars for department members as needed.

Assist with payroll duties regularly.

Create purchase orders.

Utilize corporate credit card and create expense reports for self and others.

Make travel arrangements as needed, utilizing travel and expense software.

Create month-end accounting entries and other budget-related documents as needed.

Help prepare fiscal year end documents.

Be part of creative teams and contribute ideas for process improvement.

Demonstrates an understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion, especially in working relationships with students, faculty, staff and community members.

Any other duties assigned within the position classification area.
Marginal Duties/Responsibilities: Record meeting minutes as needed.

Participate on University committees as needed.

Perform all other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities: Experience working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
