Summary of Position: |
Katke Golf Course is looking for a part time seasonal help managing outdoor facilities, cart barn, and equipment. Responsibilities will include upkeep of light equipment/supplies, manage/schedule cart maintenance, keep areas clean and organized, assist with closing facilities at the end of shifts. This position will assist with managing projects and events as needed. This is a seasonal position working 24-28 hours a week, typically April through November. |

Essential Duties/Responsibilities: |
Assist with golf operations and oversee cart barn and storage areas. Available to open and close the facility as needed. Maintain carts and schedule necessary maintenance and repairs. Assist guests and provide a high level of customer service. Organize event supplies and equipment such as signage, coolers, tents. Participate with the planning and execution of special events. Demonstrates an understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion, especially in working relationships with students, faculty, staff and community members. Any other duties assigned within the position classification area.

Skills and Abilities: |
Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, friendly both orally and in writing. Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with a diverse student, member and customer population. Ability to organize projects and processes and communicate the plan/process to improve efficiency’s and execute events. Experience working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. |
