| Summary of Position: |
This role will be doing room set ups and tear downs (moving furniture mostly), running technology for events (sound, lights, projection, etc…), assisting with room access and needs for internal and external events, assist with tidying up, managing lost and found, and other duties as assigned. Each day will have variety- so you won’t be bored working on the Events team! You will work closely with the Event Coordinator as well as the Facilities team. |

| Position Requirements: |
This role requires an independent worker who takes initiative. Handles sensitive information with care and intention. Is an excellent communicator and a strategic thinker. They are reliable and trustworthy. You do NOT need previous event experience (though it is a bonus) all components to this role will be taught and trained. |

| Essential Duties/Responsibilities: |
Set up tables and chairs in Boyer Hall per drawings provided by Event Coordinator.
Clean up (disinfect tables, move chairs, remove trash etc…) following an event.
Move furniture in “Living Room” as needed for an event.
Prepare screen/projector/microphone/room lights for an event.
Check in with client to see if they need anything, problem solve their requests.
Communicate regularly with Event Coordinator.
Check in with Security and Facilities team as needed. |
