Ferris State University’s Campus Auxiliary Services is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented student to join our team as a Student Accounting Assistant. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the financial operations of a university setting, including cross-training in accounting, disbursements, and accounts payable duties. |

- Currently enrolled at Ferris State University, preferably in a business or finance-related program.
- Strong numerical proficiency and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles and financial systems is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. |

| Essential Duties/Responsibilities: |
- Assist in the processing of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and compliance with university policies.
- Support the disbursement of funds, including preparing and verifying financial documents and payment requests.
- Help maintain accurate financial records and assist in monthly account reconciliations.
- Participate in the preparation of financial reports and audits.
- Provide administrative support to the financial team, including data entry, file management, and responding to inquiries. |
