This position will be responsible for coordinating reporting processes aligned with state and national accreditation requirements. Reporting to the Senior Associate Athletic Director, this position works closely with the Coordinator of Compliance and Student-Athlete Success and the Athletic Learning Specialist to ensure academic excellence and NCAA compliance for over 400 student-athletes. The position will support students across multiple varsity sports, monitor academic progress, and assist with course registration and degree planning. The Director will coordinate faculty progress reports (EAB), manage academic feedback systems for academically vulnerable students, and work with the registrar’s office in timely and accurate reporting of eligibility certification. The position will collaborate with coaches, faculty, and campus departments to promote student-athlete success and retention while connecting student-athletes with available campus resources at FSU and maintaining compliance with NCAA, GLIAC/CCHA, and institutional regulations. Required: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Division I or II intercollegiate athletics department. Demonstrated understanding of NCAA rules and regulations as it relates to academic eligibility.

The candidate will teach a broad spectrum of undergraduate Project Management classes as needed. Faculty may be required to teach utilizing face-to-face, blended and/or online modes of delivery; delivery on or off campus; assuring/improving learning through assessment; close consultation with program faculty, as well as training via the Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning. Faculty members also have professional responsibilities which may include but are not limited to: keeping regular posted office hours (which are scheduled at times convenient for students), and participation in traditional functions which have academic significance (ex. reporting initial student participation data and submitting final grades on time).
