Adjunct Instructor 3 (FT 9 Mo Temporary 1yr) – Theatre - Ferris State University. This is a multifaceted position, with responsibilities as a Theatre Instructor, Technical Director/Designer, and Auditorium Manager. The responsibilities as a Theatre Instructor include teaching one course per semester. The responsibilities as the Technical Director/Designer include designing set, lights and sound, set construction and props for University Theatre productions (one per semester), managing the Theatre scene shop, working with the Production/Performance Director on the selection of shows, scheduling of technical rehearsals and performances, and budget management. The responsibilities as Auditorium Manager include overseeing the operation and administration of the University’s Williams Auditorium by scheduling events, coordinating with groups using the auditorium (University community and public users), working with student workers to create and set up events, run events and budget management. This is a 1-year appointment with possibility of renewal. Required: M.A. in Theatre or Technical Theatre/Design, or related area with valid driver's license. Two years teaching college-level Theatre and/or Technical Theatre/Design courses. Experience in set, light, and/or sound design, technical direction and scene shop management at college and/or professional level.

Adjunct Instructor I – Student Teaching Supervisor – School of Education - Ferris State University. Multiple position openings for locations serving the Grand Rapids and Big Rapids campuses. Observe and evaluate student teachers in the field through 4 to 6 site visitations. Communicate and maintain positive relationships with Mentor Teachers.
