Dietary Nutritionist Big Rapids
Ferris State University's Dining Services department is looking for the next great addition to its staff. The Dietary Nutritionist provides instruction and counseling to Ferris State University students/staff with nutrition concerns or issues related to their use of campus dining services. Develop food allergy protocols and policies and establish operating procedures for the same. This is a part-time position and some flexibility of schedule may be required at certain times. Required: Associate's Degree in Nutrition, Institution Management, or related field. If degree is not possessed at time of application, it must be completed within one year of appointment. Provide financial aid counseling to students and families. Troubleshoot difficult student situations. Determine eligibility for various aid programs, monitor and adjust awards according to regulations. Represent Financial Aid in internal and external events. Participate in the development and maintenance of policy and procedure. Remain current on all applicable federal and state regulatory guidance. REQUIRED: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
