Oversee the day-to-day operations and staff of the IT Security Team. This would include but is not limited to mentoring team members, helping resolve issues with customers, other groups, and team members, provide guidance on University, department, and unit policies, procedures, and processes. The Information Security Manager is responsible for developing and implementing security strategies and best practices and monitoring compliance with IT procedures, university policy, and applicable law. The Information Security Manager will work with management and IT Services staff to ensure university devices and data are appropriately protected. The Information Security Manager is responsible for all the tasks and duties associated with the Information Security Analyst III position and below.

This position will provide writing consultation (on-site and electronic/digital) to undergraduate and graduate students for 15 to 20 hours per week. The successful applicant will be familiar with APA and MLA documentation and must be comfortable working one-on-one with a diverse student population representing a full range of majors and writing skills, from remedial to advanced. Provide administrative leadership in developing and implementing strategies to grow and support the University’s portfolio of high-quality online programs and courses for traditional and adult learners. Responsible for building relationships with the Ferris academic and administrative units to achieve strategic planning goals, foster the development and delivery of quality programming, and ensure positive student learning experiences. The individual is responsible for online undergraduate and graduate credit educational programming. This individual may also be required as a resource for non-credit activities. This position provides support in food service production by assisting in food preparation and other service needs in dining, working up to 40 hours a week. Duties will include preparation of entrees and soups, short order cooking, assisting with salad and bakery product preparation, ware-washing and maintenance, and preparation of service areas. Individuals in this position will be exposed to all food types (ex. shellfish, peanuts, & fruit) in an environment where industrial strength cleaners are used. Work hours may vary and you may be required to be on-call. Temporary part-time position to maintain labs and equipment for the Plastics Program. It is estimated that this person will work 10-12 hours per week until a full-time Laboratory Facilities Coordinator can be hired.
