These positions are located in Big Rapids, MI and the current anticipated shift for the positions will be M-F, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. Assignment requires the availability to work weekends and evening shifts as needed and respond to emergency calls. Required to carry pager. Required: High school diploma or GED equivalency. Possession of Certificate of completion in Universal Application of Refrigerant Transition. Two years of work experience in commercial, industrial, and/or residential HVACR. |

Assistant Professor - Diagnostic Medical Sonography

| 9-month tenure-track faculty position, which includes teaching and related responsibilities in the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. Responsibilities include: preparing and delivering lectures, providing instruction, and preparing, administering, and grading examinations, advising students on related academic matters, engaging in scholarly activities and professional development, and serving on departmental and faculty committees to promote curriculum development within the College of Health Professions. Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University's Campuses. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment and will perform duties at a Ferris site. The anticipated start date of this position is August 2025 at the earliest and January 2026 at the latest. Required: Graduate from an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or health related field. Must earn MS degree within 3 years of hire. American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in Abdomen (AB), and Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN). 3 years of clinical experience in direct patient care. |
