The candidate must demonstrate expertise in social and administrative pharmacy. The teaching responsibilities include courses in the PharmD and BSPS degrees at the College of Pharmacy. The candidate must demonstrate a strong commitment to student-centered education. The anticipated start date of this position is August 2025 at the earliest. This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hire as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis. Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University's Campuses. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment and will perform duties at a Ferris site. Required: PhD in Pharmacy Administration. Evidence of teaching or prior experience/employment in the area of specialty.

Assistant to the Chief Human Resources Officer/Student Employment Coordinator Big Rapids, MI 49307
The Assistant to the CHRO/Student Employment Coordinator is responsible for the delivery of a broad range of HR support and is expected to be the expert in the Student Employment area. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to engage in cross-functional HR projects, and new initiatives. This individual must possess exceptional customer service, critical thinking, analytical skills, and the demonstrated ability to work independently with little supervision. The incumbent in this position will analyze, support, and perform responsibilities in the following specific areas: student employment, accommodations, immigration, and employee issues. The successful candidate must be responsive, excel at problem solving, and initiate solutions. The successful candidate must also be a self-starter, committed to lifelong learning, and possess a high value for collaboration and a comfort with ambiguity. The individual must value working with a diverse constituency and communicate effectively and professionally. Proficiency with MS Office and Excel is required. Required: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field. Two to three years experience performing Human Resources functions. Demonstrated proficiency with technology and specifically with Microsoft Office. Demonstrated experience working the data.
Coordinator of Athletic Event Operations & Special Projects Big Rapids, MI 49307
Coordinate oversight of event/game operations for athletics regular season, post-season, and special events. Serve as primary contact for athletics with University’s physical plant operation for athletic projects and facility maintenance issues and assist in the coordinator of all athletic facility scheduling. Required: Bachelor’s Degree or working on bachelors degree and 2 years experience with game operations or event management. Two years of athletic event and facility management experience. Job requires excellent organizational & communication skills (both written and oral), revenue generation experience, the ability to effectively manage staff in event operations and facilities management settings and provide solid customer service to diverse constituents and user groups. Must be proactive and able to work collaboratively with multiple user groups demonstrating confidence and knowledge of how events and facilities operate.
Grounds Worker Big Rapids, MI 49307
Perform independent maintenance and repair of campus grounds, roads, walks, plant life, irrigation systems and grounds equipment using approved environmental and ecological practices. Normal working hours are M-F, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. This position may require availability to work other shifts, weekends and evenings, including overtime and responding to emergency calls. If required by job duties, employee must be able to fulfill University requirements concerning issuance and use of University keys. Required: High school diploma or GED equivalency. Valid driver's license. One year full-time equivalent landscape maintenance functions as performed in a residential and/or commercial setting.
