Provide comprehensive supervision of 1-3 residence halls (typically two). Hall Directors recruit, train, supervise, and mentor residence hall staff, 6-17 Resident Advisors, 1-3 Senior Staff Advisors and 15-30 front desk and night security personnel; actively participate on departmental and university-wide committees, manage facilities, advise Hall Council; train RA staff to advise House Councils; coordinate programming/community development and provide overall leadership in the academic, social and emotional development of students. Teach undergraduate management courses in multiple delivery methods that may include face-to-face, on-line, and a hybrid/mixed delivery format. Candidates must be able to demonstrate teaching excellence. The College of Business is dedicated to providing a learning experience for its students that instills knowledge, competencies, and skills for entry level positions and job advancement in their chosen careers. To facilitate this, faculty are expected to be student oriented and able to integrate current technology into the learning environment. Bachelors degree or higher in a related field plus 8 years HVAC industry experience. Five years of work in the HVAC industry.
Laboratory Instructor/Monitor	Big Rapids, MI 49307
Classroom and small group instruction for proper laboratory procedures with the Institute for Construction Education and Training (ICET). Monitor written and practical certification examinations. These positions are limited to no more 28 hours per week. This is a pooled position and our anticipated start date is Fall 2024 (preferably August) and/or Spring (preferably January) 2025. One or more applicants may be hired as needed on a semester-by-semester basis. Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Current certifications as appropriate to program assignment such as Michigan Certified Aggregate Technician, Michigan Certified Bituminous Laboratory Technician, Level 1 and/or Michigan Certified Density Technician. Two years experience working in the road construction industry related to quality control of highway construction materials.

Faculty Qualification by Tested Experience: The following combination of education and experience shall be considered to teach at the associate's level (1xx-2xx): 1. a bachelor's degree or higher out of field and an associate's degree in field and 5 years of relevant industry experience. 2. a bachelor's degree out of field and 7 years of relevant industry experience. 3. an associate's degree in field and 7 years of relevant industry experience. The following combinations of education and experience shall be considered to teach at the baccalaureate level (3xx-4xx): 1. a master's degree or higher-level degree out of field with at least one bachelor's or associate's degree in field and 5 years of relevant industry experience directly related to the course taught. 2. a bachelor's degree in field and 7 years of relevant industry experience directly related to course taught; or, an associate's degree in field and any baccalaureate degree and 7 years of relevant industry experience. Teach undergraduate management courses in multiple delivery methods that may include face-to-face, on-line, and a hybrid/mixed delivery format. Candidates must be able to demonstrate teaching excellence. The College of Business is dedicated to providing a learning experience for its students that instills knowledge, competencies, and skills for entry level positions and job advancement in their chosen careers. To facilitate this, faculty are expected to be student oriented and able to integrate current technology into the learning environment.
