Assistant Professor of Social Work – Ferris State University. The Ferris State University Social Work Department in Big Rapids Michigan invites applications for a tenure-track position. Associate Dean for Academic and Student Affairs – Ferris State University. The ideal candidate will have a Doctor of Optometry degree (OD) from an ACOE-accredited institution or a clinically-equivalent degree in Ophthalmology (i.e., MD, DO) and be license eligible in the state of Michigan. Successful Associate Dean candidates will have a significant leadership role in graduate-level clinical education with a substantial history of experience in curricular development and innovations, educational assessment, the latest trends in education and experience with accreditation standards. Preferred candidates should also have demonstrated success working well with faculty, administration, and students; training and/or experience in student advising and counseling; and a commitment to diversity. A track-record of scholarship and contributions at the national level is highly desired.
