Adjunct Instructor 3 - Diagnostic Medical Sonography (9 Mos., Full-Time, 1-Year) – Ferris State University. This is a full-time (9 Mos., Full-Time, 1-Year) Adjunct Instructor 3 - for the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. This position includes teaching and related responsibilities in the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. Adjunct Instructor 1 - Diagnostic Medical Sonography – Ferris State University. This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed on a semester-by-semester basis to teach laboratory and lecture classes for students in the Associate of Applied Science degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Founded in 1884, the Ferris’ founding philosophy of a practical, hands-on approach to education that enables students to learn practical skills for new jobs in a changing world still resonates loudly today. Our education is “where theory meets practice.” This, together with a committed faculty, individual attention and career-oriented degrees, prepares graduates who find employment in their field after graduation. This posting is used for face to face and/or online instruction, however, the candidate selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment. The anticipated start date of this position is May of 2024 at the earliest and August of 2024 at the latest. Required: Graduate from an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or health related field. American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in Abdomen (AB), and Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN). Three years of clinical experience in direct patient care.
