| Summary of Position: |
Student Brand Ambassadors (SBAs) for the Online Bookstore raise awareness about its benefits to students with the goal of increasing utilization. In addition, SBAs communicate with faculty and staff to support on-time course material adoptions. It’s important that students order their textbooks so they can be prepared for their courses and are set up to succeed every term. SBAs are the on-the-ground support to make sure that happens!
This position is half customer service, and half marketing and communications Students will host scheduled help tables at the start of the term, based on their availability, and work on marketing and communication projects that can be done on their own time. Ferris State provides training and access to marketing materials.
Student should be available to work three days a week, for 3-4 hours each day for Orientation. Prefer a student that is available during the summer and fall semester. |

| Position Requirements: |
• Self-motivated, reliable, and efficient in communicating with team
• Able to work on independent projects and during scheduled tabling hours (as your academic schedule allows)
• Comfortable and willing to interact with students, faculty, and staff |

| Essential Duties/Responsibilities: |
• Raise awareness about the Online Bookstore
• Attend and/or present at campus events and host a help table at the beginning of the term
• Create events, activities, and opportunities that encourage students to learn about the Online Bookstore
• Identify student communication channels and post information about the Online Bookstore (in-person and digital outreach)
• Work with Campus Auxiliary Services Marketing and/or Ferris State Marketing on communication campaigns for students and faculty |
