Adjunct Instructor - Sales and Marketing (Part-Time) Big Rapids, MI 49307
The College of Business is seeking outstanding applicants to teach two sales-related courses (on campus) per semester, assigned based on credentials and departmental needs. The ideal candidate should be able to teach various sales-related courses (e.g., Professional Selling, Sales Management, and Advanced Selling). Candidates are expected to foster a meaningful learning experience for our students; faculty are expected to be student-oriented, advise, and integrate current technology into the learning environment. Additionally, faculty members have professional responsibilities that include keeping regularly posted office hours (scheduled at times convenient for Students) and participating in traditional functions that have academic significance. Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University's Campuses or approved FSU sites. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment and will perform duties at a Ferris site. This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis. The anticipated start date of this position is August 2026 or January 2027. However, these are estimated dates and can be revised if needed. Full-Time Clinical Faculty (12-Month, Non-Tenure) - Nursing Big Rapids, MI 49307
The College of Health Professions invites applications for full-time, non-tenure-track clinical faculty positions to provide technical assistance and ongoing support for students across laboratories and clinical teaching, including oversight of direct patient care and experiential learning environments, for 30 hours per week. Responsibilities will extend beyond course instruction by an additional 10 hours per week to include student mentoring, one-on-one and small-group engagement, assessment activities, community and clinical partner engagement, travel associated with experiential sites, and curriculum continuity. These positions will also require some evening and weekend hours. These are 12-month positions with an anticipated start date of August 2026; however, this is an estimate and may be revised if needed. Accessibility Facilitator Big Rapids, MI 49307
The Accessibility Facilitator serves as a key member of the Disability and Accessibility Resource Center (DARC) team, providing leadership and operational oversight for accommodated testing, assistive technology, and accessibility services. This position oversees the daily operations of accommodated testing, including exam scheduling, proctoring, and coordination with faculty to ensure equitable testing experiences for students with disabilities. This position assists the Director with departmental operations to ensure the continuity of DARC services. The anticipated start date of this position is September 2026. However, this is an estimated date and can be revised if needed. Coordinator of Athletic Event Operations & Special Projects Big Rapids, MI 49307
Coordinate oversight of event/game operations for athletics regular season, post-season, and special events. Serve as primary contact for athletics with University’s physical plant operation for athletic projects and facility maintenance issues and assist in the coordinator of all athletic facility scheduling. Adjunct Instructor - Geography (Part-time, Temporary) Big Rapids, MI 49307
The Social and Behavioral Sciences Department in the College of Arts, Sciences and Education seeks applicants to provide instruction for a variety of face-to-face and online Geography courses on the Big Rapids, MI campus. Needs vary from semester to semester and may include introductory courses in World Regional Geography, Cultural Geography, Weather and Climate, Physical Geography, and GIS as well as upper-level courses as determined by instructor qualification and departmental needs. Personal Counselor Temporary (17 weeks) Big Rapids, MI 49307
This is a temporary, 17-week clinical position. The position will provide individual, couple, and group short-term mental health counseling and crisis intervention for Ferris State University (FSU) students. This position will start August 24th 2026 and will conclude December 11th 2026. The selected candidate for this position must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire without employer assistance or sponsorship now or in the future.
