Perform custodial duties independently or within a team environment as assigned, providing a high standard of cleanliness. The anticipated schedule for this position will be Sa-W, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm. Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalency. Valid driver's license. Custodial/Janitorial work experience in a commercial-hospital-school environment, in a commercial cleaning service, or completion of the Ferris State University JANUS (custodial) training. Demonstrated experience with correct operation of a variety of commercial custodial equipment such as a vacuum cleaner, automatic scrubber, high-speed burnisher, single-disc scrubber, carpet extraction/shampoo equipment, or other essential or similar custodial equipment.
Food Service Worker	Big Rapids, MI 49307
A position classified as a Food Service Worker is available with Dining Services at The Rock Cafe. The normal working hours are 1:30pm-10pm Sunday through Wednesday and Saturday. Days off are Thursday and Friday. This position will begin as soon as possible, subject to manager approval. However, the employee may be required to work other times, including evenings and/or weekends. If required by job duties, employee must be able to fulfill the University’s requirements concerning issuance and use of University keys. Provide food services support by preparing and serving food, waiting on customers, and maintaining assigned area. Personnel who possess the special qualifications and training necessary for this position may apply. Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalency. Six months full-time equivalent experience in commercial food service to include food preparation.
