| Under the direction and supervision of the Associate Dean of Student Life, the Basic Needs Care Coordinator will provide support and outreach to students identified as having unmet needs and referred to the Dean of Student Life Office. The Basic Needs Care Coordinator will engage in data-informed monitoring to direct their outreach and assist students with their transition to campus, build their knowledge and connection to campus resources, resolve their questions, concerns, and complaints, and otherwise help them successfully persist to completion. This position is a full-time, 12 month, in person (Big Rapids campus), 3 year temporary position. Required: Bachelor’s degree in student affairs, social work, psychology, or related field from an accredited institution. One year of professional or undergraduate experience in Student Affairs, Residence Life, Student Conduct, social work setting, counseling, or similar collegiate student development experience. |
