| The College of Arts Sciences and Education at Ferris State University seeks a diverse group of outstanding applicants for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position. The successful applicant will teach courses in chemistry and industrial chemistry and contribute to the success of the department’s programs in industrial chemistry. Applicants must hold a master's degree in chemistry and must have previous work experience in the chemical industry outside of academia. Teaching may include undergraduate and graduate courses. Candidates are expected to foster a meaningful learning experience for our students, faculty are expected to be student-oriented, advise, and integrate current technology into the learning environment. Additionally, faculty will participate in collaborative efforts to foster curricular efforts, participate in assessment of student learning, and further develop programmatic enhancement. Specifically, we expect the candidate to be willing to engage students outside the classroom, support and expand our existing academic initiatives, and be willing to mentor students beyond a traditional academic advising role. In support of teaching, candidates will engage in scholarly/professional activities and participate in department, college, and university committees. Off-campus and online teaching may be required. Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University's Campuses. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment and will perform duties at a Ferris site. The anticipated start date of this position is August 2026. Required: Master's degree in Chemistry. Work experience in a chemical industry (outside of academia). Experience in teaching chemistry in higher education. |

Enrollment Services Programmer Analyst

| Develop, execute, measure, and evaluate student data and produce accurate reporting and analysis to appropriate personnel for the Enrollment Services Unit, as well as, the University at large. This position utilizes Banner data to enhance existing processes and to create and refine reports germane to the University’s vision and goals. Required: Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university with emphasis in Computer Information Systems or related field. Two years of work experience with data development, analysis and reporting, or combination of work experience and education/training that would provide the required knowledge and abilities may qualify. |

| Work within the custodial staff to present a clean, safe, healthy environment for all facilities maintained by the Facilities Department and work with the Facilities Department, accomplishing custodial and maintenance requirements of the College.
Keep the building up to the standards that are set by the College and the Building Manager. Must be able to work days, nights, and weekends as assigned by Supervisor. Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Valid driver’s license. Two years custodial experience. |

| Provide service and support to university-owned, faculty, staff, and student privately-owned computing devices while providing a fresh perspective of support strategies and troubleshooting methods. Utilize different skill sets to diagnose hardware and software related problems on a variety of devices. Ensure that all repair work is performed safely and accurately to improve the longevity and usability of the equipment for the benefit of the university. Provide additional support to the Walk-Up and Desktop areas as needed. Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalency. A valid driver’s license. CompTIA A+ certification required within 90 days of employment. Three years of work experience in a computer-related support position. |
