Athletics Learning Specialist Graduate Assistant

| This position will assist coaches in identifying at risk student-athletes and supporting academic advisors in assisting athletes in finding services available both on and off campus to help them be more successful in the classroom. This position will be responsible for documenting and collecting data related to student-athlete success focusing on the academic achievement gap of minority student-athletes as compared to other student athletes, all minority students, and the general student population. Pursuant to FSU-HRPP 2005:44, "Students currently admitted on a full-time basis, defined as carrying at least 9 credits per semester, to a Ferris State University graduate program and earning credits toward a graduate degree, may qualify for a Graduate Project Assistant (GPA) position". Required: Bachelor's Degree. Must be enrolled in a Ferris State University Graduate program for Fall 2025 semester. Demonstrated experience working with student athletes. |

| Develop, execute, measure, and evaluate student data and produce accurate reporting and analysis to appropriate personnel for the Enrollment Services Unit, as well as, the University at large. This position utilizes Banner data to enhance existing processes and to create and refine reports germane to the University’s vision and goals. Required: Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university with emphasis in Computer Information Systems or related field. Two years of work experience working with data development, analysis and reporting. |
