| Teach one or more courses in one or more of the following degree programs: Plastics & Polymer Engineering Technology AAS and Plastics Engineering Technology BS. Courses assigned may be lectures or labs; face-to-face, blended, or online. A focus on student success, safety, and use of current technology are expected. Regular office hours are also expected. This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis. Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University's Campuses. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment The anticipated start date for this position is August 2025 at the earliest, and January 2026 at the latest. Required: A master’s or higher-level degree in field or closely related field and 3 years of relevant industrial experience. (all courses up through 400 level). A master’s or higher-level degree out of field with at least one bachelor’s or associate’s degree in field and 5 years of relevant industry experience directly related to courses taught (all courses up through 400 level). A bachelor’s degree in field and 5 years of relevant industry experience directly related to courses taught; or an associate’s degree in field and any baccalaureate degree and 5 years of relevant industry experience (all courses up through 200 level). 3-5 years of relevant industry experience dependent upon degree obtained. Radiography Lab Assistant (Part time)

| Provides assistance to Radiography program faculty in the laboratory setting. Work up to 28 hours per week, when students are in session. May be required to work some evenings. The anticipated start date for this position is April of 2025 at the earliest, and June of 2025 at the latest; however, this is an estimated date and can be revised if needed. Required: Associate’s degree in Radiography. ARRT Certification. Six months related professional experience. |

Carpenter/Locksmith

| Perform skilled trades working in locksmithing and carpentry on University owned buildings and furnishings. The normal working hours are typically 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. However, may be required to work other times including evenings and/or weekends to include responding to emergency calls. If required by job duties, employee must be able to fulfill the University's requirements concerning issuance and use of University keys. Personnel who possess the special qualifications and training necessary for this position may apply. Required: High school diploma or GED equivalency. Must obtain locksmith certificate and training within one year from date of hire. Completion of a carpenter apprenticeship or in lieu of completed apprenticeship, must have six years of full-time experience at journeyman skill level with experience in residential, commercial, and/or industrial areas to include new framing, renovation, repairs, replacements, furniture installation, etc. |

Custodian/Maintenance Worker - Pool

| Perform routine swimming pool maintenance and custodial duties independently, providing a high standard of cleanliness. Standard shift hours and days of work are; M-F, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm. Required: High school diploma or GED equivalency. Pool Operator’s certificate. Within 90 days of hire, successful completion of University provided training, which results in a University issued forklift operator’s permit and respirator fit test certification. Custodial/Janitorial work experience in a commercial-hospital-school environment, in a commercial cleaning service, or completion of the Ferris State University JANUS (custodial) training. Demonstrated experience with correct operation of a variety of commercial custodial equipment, such as; vacuum cleaner, automatic scrubber, high speed burnisher, single disc scrubber, carpet extraction/shampoo equipment, or other essential or similar custodial equipment. |
