| The College of Business at Ferris State University seeks a pool of outstanding applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Management. Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate courses in business and management. Faculty are expected to create meaningful, student-centered learning experiences, provide academic advising, and incorporate current technology into their instruction. The successful candidate will contribute to curricular development, participate in assessment of student learning, and support ongoing program enhancement. We seek someone who is committed to engaging students beyond the classroom, supporting existing academic initiatives, and mentoring students beyond traditional advising expectations. Faculty are also expected to engage in scholarly or professional activities and participate in department, college, and university committees. Off-campus and online teaching may be required. Courses will be taught in person on one of Ferris State University's campuses. The candidate selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment and will perform duties at a Ferris site. The anticipated start date is August of 2026 at the earliest and January of 2027 at the latest. Required: Doctorate (Ph.D. or DBA) in Management or a closely related field. If the doctorate is in a closely related field, a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in Management courses are required. ABD will be considered. Degree must be from an accredited institution. Three years of industry experience. |

The successful candidate will instruct general education and programmatic Sociology courses in various areas of Sociology, including both introductory and upper-level courses in keeping with department needs and candidate expertise. | This position has responsibilities for teaching Foundations – Analytical Reading or Analytical Reading at Ferris State University. Instruction will focus on providing students with the opportunity to become critical readers by increasing vocabulary, enhancing reading comprehension and recall, and improving reading skills to better prepare for college level reading. This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis. Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University's campuses or approved FSU site or possibly online. The candidate selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment. and will perform duties at a Ferris site. The anticipated start date of this position is January 2026 at the earliest and August 2026 at the latest. However, these are estimated dates and can be revised if needed. Required: Master’s degree in Reading, Developmental Education, Special Education or related field. Experience teaching and/or developmental studies at the college or K-12 levels. Experience teaching reading, developmental-level, and/or language arts at the high school and/or post-secondary levels. |
