Teaching required Advanced First Aid course fall semester for Law Enforcement Academy following MCOLES requirements. Availability to teach Wednesday 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. First Aid instructors shall hold valid and current certification by the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or a comparable organization or institution approved by MCOLES. Certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for professionals (adult, child, infant) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) shall be the prerequisites for the MCOLES basic training first aid objectives. These certifications must include in-person skills testing. The anticipated start date of this position is August 2025. Required: Successful completion of MCOLES recognized police academy training course or a bachelor's degree and the required licenses and certifications listed below. Current certification in American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or comparable organization of institution approved by MCOLES. Current certification in CPR and AED. Minimum 5 years of relevant professional training and experience in first aid.

The School of Design and Manufacturing invites applications for an adjunct faculty position in the Manufacturing Engineering Technology program. Position requires teaching undergraduate-level lecture and laboratory coursework in a "hands-on" academic environment. This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis. This posting is used for face to face and/or online instruction. For in-person or hybrid teaching positions, candidates must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment. Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University’s campuses. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment. For courses that are taught 100% online, the candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan, Illinois (excluding Chicago), Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, Ohio, or Wisconsin after acceptance of employment. The anticipated start date of this position is August of 2025 at the earliest and January of 2026 at the latest. Required: A master’s or higher-level degree in field or closely related field and 3 years of relevant industrial experience (all courses up through 400 level). A master’s or higher-level degree out of field with at least one bachelor’s or associate degree in field and 5 years of relevant industry experience directly related to courses taught (all courses up through 400 level). A bachelor’s degree in field and 5 years of relevant industry experience directly related to courses taught; or an associate’s degree in field and any baccalaureate degree and 5 years of relevant industry experience (all courses up through 200 level). 3-5 years of relevant industry experience dependent upon degree obtained. Radiography Lab Assistant (Part time) in Big Rapids, MI 49307
Provides assistance to Radiography program faculty in the laboratory setting. Work up to 28 hours per week, when students are in session. May be required to work some evenings. The anticipated start date for this position is April of 2025 at the earliest, and June of 2025 at the latest; however, this is an estimated date and can be revised if needed.
