Adjunct Instructor 1 - Health Information Technology in Multiple Locations
Provide online didactic instruction for students in the Associate of Applied Science of Health Information Technology program as assigned in the College of Health Professions. This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis. Courses are to be taught online. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan, Illinois (excluding Chicago), Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, Ohio, or Wisconsin after acceptance of employment. The anticipated start date of this position is January of 2025 at the earliest and August 2025 at the latest. Required: Bachelor's degree in health information management. Minimum three years in a health information management department.

Associate Dean, College of Engineering Technology (CET) in Big Rapids, MI 49307
Under the direction of the Dean, the Associate Dean of the College of Engineering and Technology, is an administrative position with an anticipated start in the spring of 2025. However, this is an estimate and may be revised if needed. This position works under broad administrative direction with significant responsibility in operations, assessment, student recruitment, retention, and compliance. This is a 12-month administrative appointment that requires understanding of the programs within the CET, willingness to work closely with faculty, students, and staff across the departments of the CET, as well as with the college Deans and Provost's office, while paying attention to detail in meeting the needs of the CET related to accreditation, efficiency, program quality, enrollment, operations, and industry partnerships. The Associate Dean is expected to be strategic, process-oriented, flexible, willing to work closely with faculty, and committed to the career-focused mission of the CET. The Associate Dean will work integrally with the Dean to oversee course scheduling and enrollment management; provide oversight/coordination that includes, but is not limited to, working with faculty on curriculum development for new academic programs, including credit and non-credit certificate development; and work collaboratively with programs for assessment, accreditation, and academic program reviews.

Assistant or Associate Professor of Construction Technology & Management (9-Month, Tenure-Track) in Multiple Locations
Primary responsibilities include teaching and advising students in a four-year BS Construction Management program (accredited by the American Council for Construction Education – ACCE) and in two separate two-year AAS programs – Building Construction Technology and Civil Engineering Technology. Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University's Campuses. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment. The anticipated start date of this position is January 2025 at the earliest and August 2025 at the latest. Required: Master's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Construction Technology, or Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering or appropriate related field AND five years full-time US construction experience (commercial or industrial) OR Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Construction Technology, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering or appropriate related field AND an MBA plus eight years full-time US construction experience (commercial or industrial) with increasing levels of responsibility OR Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Construction Technology, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering or appropriate related field and eight years full-time US construction experience (commercial or industrial) with increasing levels of responsibility. A Master's degree in field or an approved related field will be required prior to tenure. Required work experience is based on degree attained. Higher level degree (PhD) in Construction Management or closely related degree requires five years full-time US construction experience (commercial or industrial). If a candidate has a PhD in a closely related field, but not actually Construction Management, the Master's degree must be in Construction Management and five years full-time commercial or industrial construction experience is required.
