Coordinate oversight of event/game operations for athletics regular season, post-season, and special events. Serve as primary contact for athletics with University’s physical plant operation for athletic projects and facility maintenance issues and assist in the coordinator of all athletic facility scheduling. Required: Bachelor’s Degree or working on bachelors degree and 2 years experience with game operations or event management. Two years of athletic event and facility management experience. Job requires excellent organizational & communication skills (both written and oral), revenue generation experience, the ability to effectively manage staff in event operations and facilities management settings and provide solid customer service to diverse constituents and user groups. Perform independent maintenance and repair of campus grounds, roads, walks, plant life, irrigation systems and grounds equipment using approved environmental and ecological practices. Normal working hours are M-F, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. This position may require availability to work other shifts, weekends and evenings, including overtime and responding to emergency calls.
