Summary of Position: |
Design, code, test, implement, support and document complex programs and packages for FSU's applications, including assigned ERP modules and related administrative application for functional, technical and customer processes. Responsible for understanding SQL, PL SQL and modern coding concepts and standards. Participate in all phases of application development lifecycle and formulate and define application scope and objectives. Direct business and technical design, software and hardware installation, integration and configuration and problem resolution and performance tuning. Provide installation and maintenance support to FSU ERP and departmental applications for assigned support areas with end users and technical support staff. Work with staff on business process improvement and enhancing efficiencies using existing and new technologies. Consult internally and externally on new application development, new package system evaluation and enhancements of existing systems. Direct systems development processes, including planning and monitoring efforts, coordination with other departments, reviewing deliverables and communicating status with management. Analyze business process improvements through automation within FSU's ERP and departmental application. Work with end users, technical resources and vendor support to troubleshoot end user processes and reports. Manage projects related to application implementations and integrations. Support data extraction and integration into various systems to enhance operations and decrease errors. |
