Part-time teaching and related responsibilities: utilizing face-to-face, blended and/or online modes of delivery; delivery on or off campus; assuring/improving learning through assessment; close consultation with program faculty, as well as training via the Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning. Reporting to the Director of Public Safety, the Clery Act Compliance Officer serves as the campus coordinator responsible for compliance with the regulatory requirements of the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act. Working collaboratively with the Ferris State University Department of Public Safety and other campus departments, the Clery Act Compliance Officer serves as the expert resource for all laws and regulations as outlined in the Federal Clery Act as well as laws and regulations retaining to the processing, retention, release, and disposition of department of public safety and Clery records. This position helps develop a comprehensive, “best practice” Clery Act Compliance program.
