| Summary of Position: |
The DISI intern will be a creative thinker with an interest in marketing, advertising, graphic design, communications, public relations, or fundraising. The intern will assist with all aspects of promoting DISI and its departments, including audience development, media research, campaign design, social media marketing, digital advertising, event planning, media tracking, data reporting and data analysis, as well as some basic administrative tasks.
This intern will help develop strategic marketing plans, post on all social media platforms, and create marketing materials to be distributed. his position will help expand the visibility of DISI while gaining a basic understanding of marketing and public relations in higher education. Working with the DISI rewards interns with professional skills in a friendly environment that promotes creative ideas and fosters professional growth. Hours may include some nights and weekends.

| Position Requirements: |
• Must be enrolled at Ferris in an applicable internship course at the time of employment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Ability to multitask and produce high-quality work by a deadline
• Extensive knowledge of web and social media
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite |
