Summary of Position: |
The Student Organization Specialist will provide support to Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) across campus. This position will mentor student leaders and help the Center for Student Involvement staff develop support resources and workshops for RSOs. |

Position Requirements: |
Be in good academic standing with a GPA of 2.5 or higher Have a strong desire to help RSOs meet their goals Ability to develop rapport with students from a variety backgrounds Have a basic knowledge of Canva, PowerPoint, Word, or other platforms Ability to use strong communication skills to develop training and marketing materials |

Essential Duties/Responsibilities: |
Work in collaboration with Center for Student Involvement professional and student staff Learn how to effectively navigate Ferris360 and provide training to RSOs Learn important policies outlined in the RSO Handbook and answer questions from RSOs Create and maintain a regular RSO Newsletter that seeks to increase transparent communication between the Center for Student Involvement and RSO members Represent and advocate for the Center for Student Involvement at various tabling and public presentation opportunities throughout the year Assist with research and brainstorming related to student organization success and leadership Additional duties as necessary |
