| Summary of Position: |
The Hispanic/Latino Cultural Center is seeking a student for their Special Projects Leader position. This position will give you the opportunity to gain experience in an office setting and knowledge for event planning. |

| Position Requirements: |
*Should have prior event planning experience
*Excellent written and verbal communication
*Independently working with limited supervision
*Should have experience in general office duties
*As an individual who is responsible for driving on behalf of the University, it is required that Human Resources obtain and review a motor vehicle report to determine your eligibility to drive for the University. You will be asked to complete an authorization form for obtaining a motor vehicle report. |

| Essential Duties/Responsibilities: |
*Providing assistance in overview of Special Projects Assistants
*Full range of event planning duties to ensure professionalism and successful events
*Scheduling catering, seating, obtaining decor, working with internal and external partners and vendors, and other operational duties for an event |
