| Summary of Position: |
The library is seeking highly motivated individuals with an excellent service-oriented attitude. Hired persons in this position are mainly assigned with the Circulation Services responsibilities, and may work day, evening and weekend. Providing Checkout Desk services to library users, shelving, shelf reading, and shifting of materials may be required. Other duties may be assigned. Students may also be asked to assist with closing the building on evening/weekend. While customer service-oriented attitude is essential in performing assigned duties, time management, good organizational and communication skills are necessary for this position, as are accuracy and attention to details. Dependability is a must. In addition, the position requires the ability to sequence and the ability to work in confined spaces. |
