Teach one or more courses in one or more of the following degree programs: Plastics & Polymer Engineering Technology AAS and Plastics Engineering Technology BS. Courses assigned may be lectures or labs; face-to-face, blended, or online. A focus on student success, safety, and use of current technology are expected. Regular office hours are also expected. This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis. Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University's Campuses. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment The anticipated start date for this position is August 2025 at the earliest, and January 2026 at the latest. Required: A master’s or higher-level degree in field or closely related field and 3 years of relevant industrial experience. (all courses up through 400 level). A master’s or higher-level degree out of field with at least one bachelor’s or associate’s degree in field and 5 years of relevant industry experience directly related to courses taught (all courses up through 400 level). A bachelor’s degree in field and 5 years of relevant industry experience directly related to courses taught; or an associate’s degree in field and any baccalaureate degree and 5 years of relevant industry experience (all courses up through 200 level). 3-5 years of relevant industry experience dependent upon degree obtained. Provides assistance to Radiography program faculty in the laboratory setting. Work up to 28 hours per week, when students are in session. May be required to work some evenings. The anticipated start date for this position is April of 2025 at the earliest, and June of 2025 at the latest; however, this is an estimated date and can be revised if needed. Required: Associate’s degree in Radiography. ARRT Certification. Six months related professional experience.

Perform skilled trades working in locksmithing and carpentry on University owned buildings and furnishings. The normal working hours are typically 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. However, may be required to work other times including evenings and/or weekends to include responding to emergency calls. If required by job duties, employee must be able to fulfill the University's requirements concerning issuance and use of University keys. Personnel who possess the special qualifications and training necessary for this position may apply. Required: High school diploma or GED equivalency. Under the general direction of the Registrar or their designee. The Assistant Registrar will independently review student-athletes and certify those eligible for practice or competition in compliance with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) bylaws. This position will process National Student Clearinghouse enrollment reporting data in collaboration with the Office of Scholarships & Financial Aid to maintain Title-IV compliance. Required: A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education. Two years of work experience in an office setting where data organization, accuracy and attention to detail are important.
