Join our team in the College of Business at Ferris State University to shape future graphic designers, user experience/user interface (ux/ui) designers, and brand identity designers. Candidates will demonstrate: expertise in visual design, design principles, typography, and creative concept development; familiarity with design research methods and user-centered design principles; evidence of contemporary industry practice within the last 5 years; and effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds. Adjunct Instructor 1 - Heavy Equipment Big Rapids, MI 49307
The College of Engineering Technology is seeking adjunct instructors to teach Heavy Equipment courses. This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis. This posting is being used for face to face and/or online instruction. Required: Qualification by Credential: Master's Degree in Heavy Equipment or Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline OR a Master's degree and 18 graduate hours in Heavy Equipment or Automotive Engineering or related discipline. Qualification by Tested Experience: Bachelor's degree in Heavy Equipment Service Engineering Technology or Equivalent degree. Minimum of three years full-time experience in the Heavy Equipment Service field or teaching in a Heavy Equipment related setting, within the previous five years. Adjunct Instructor 1 – Statewide/Online Programs Multiple Locations
Adjunct instructors are needed to teach undergraduate courses as part of Ferris State University's Statewide (off-campus) and online programs. The locations include, but are not limited to, Grand Rapids, Traverse City, Lapeer, and online. The list of programs where instructors may be needed is at https://ferris.edu/everywhere. This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis. This posting is being used for face-to-face and/or online instruction. Perform skilled trades work in locksmithing and carpentry on University owned buildings and furnishings. The normal working hours are typically 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. However, may be required to work other times, including evenings and/or weekends including responding to emergency calls. The Department of Construction Technology & Management invites applications for a 9-month, tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor Level. Primary responsibilities include teaching and advising students in a four-year BS Construction Management program ACCE. Teaching assignments will be from a wide range of construction technology and construction management topics. Position may require teaching online or at off-campus location in Grand Rapids. Master's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Construction Technology, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering or appropriate related field AND five years full-time US construction experience (commercial or industrial).
