KCAD is seeking a full-time faculty for Foundations. The First Year Experience / Foundations program offers hands-on, integrative, studio-based courses utilizing both analog and digital formats. The program is currently seeking candidates to teach foundation courses. This position will start in August, 2025. Courses are to be taught in person on KCAD’s campus in Grand Rapids, MI. Assistant/Associate Professor of Photography (Tenure-track)	Grand Rapids, MI 49503

Fulltime faculty members at KCAD teach 18 semester credit hours per academic year, typically 3 courses each fall and spring semester. As a KCAD faculty member, you will engage in three kinds of professional development: continuous improvement in teaching effectiveness, creative and/or scholarly contribution within your discipline, and a college service commitment that includes committee work and community engagement for the advancement of KCAD’s mission. Teaching assignments within the BFA Photography Program include a full range of technical, aesthetic, and theoretical subjects from beginning camera and darkroom usage, lighting and digital applications, to the senior thesis project. Several positions classified as part time continuing are available to assist in providing support in our retail, catering and residential food service operations, working up to 28 hours a week. The Department is seeking a qualified individual to teach a selection of undergraduate courses in sales and marketing.
