Summary of Position: |
Katke Golf Course is looking for a part time assistant manager to oversee business operations. Responsibilities will include scheduling staff, cash handling, receiving and processing of merchandise, overseeing point of sale system, member engagement, and event scheduling. |

Associate Degree in Business or related field; or high school diploma with two years merchandising, retail or business experience. |

Additional Education/Experiences to be Considered: |
Five years of work experience in retail or business experience preferred. Experience with: Customer Service Retail merchandising Event Management Accounting Prior golf course or other athletic facility Supervision |

Duties/Responsibilities: |
Oversee pro shop operations including merchandise displays and POS systems. Available to open and close the facility as needed. Daily reporting and deposits. Receive and process new merchandise in the point of sale back office. Assist with management and scheduling of staff. Maintain membership records and information. Conduct physical inventory and reconcile. Assist guests and provide a high level of customer service. Basic computer skills with proficiency with Microsoft Office. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, focusing on customer relations and presenting a positive image for Katke Golf Course. Strong ability to remain focused and on task in an atmosphere of frequent interruptions and distractions. Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with a diverse student, member, and customer population. Develop processes and procedures to improve efficiencies and keep operations organized. Train and lead staff in business operations and communicate regularly to ensure staff is up to date on processes and procedures. Ability to organize projects and execute events. |
