Head Strength & Conditioning Coach Big Rapids, MI 49307
Serve as the strength and conditioning coach for Ferris State University Division II athletic programs, including men’s and women’s basketball, football, men’s and women’s cross country, men’s and women’s golf, women’s soccer, softball, men’s and women’s tennis, men’s and women’s track and field and women’s volleyball. The list of sports this position will be working with is subject to change at the discretion of the Athletic Director or Sr. Associate Athletic Director. Responsible for department wide administration of strength and conditioning, including but not limited to: weight room scheduling and oversight, participation on athletic department senior staff, management of student employees and potential intern positions. Required: Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in exercise science, sports fitness, kinesiology, or related field. Adjunct Instructor I – Student Teaching Supervisor – School of Education– Ferris State University. Adjunct Instructor 3 - Industrial Technology and Management Faculty (FT Temporary-12 Mo) – Ferris State University. The primary responsibilities for the position are teaching, advising, recruiting and program coordination for the Industrial Technology and Management program for the Auburn Hills, Warren, and Grand Rapids locations and other sites as they become available. The individual will cover various courses in ITM and related areas.
