The Director of Student-Athlete Academic Success at Ferris State University provides comprehensive academic support and leadership for student-athletes participating in the 17 NCAA and GLIAC/CCHA-sanctions sports. Reporting to the Senior Associate Athletic Director, this position works closely with the Coordinator of Compliance and Student-Athlete Success and the Athletic Learning Specialist to ensure academic excellence and NCAA compliance for over 400 student-athletes. The position will support students across multiple varsity sports, monitor academic progress, and assist with course registration and degree planning. The Director will coordinate faculty progress reports (EAB), manage academic feedback systems for academically vulnerable students, and work with the registrar’s office in timely and accurate reporting of eligibility certification. The position will collaborate with coaches, faculty, and campus departments to promote student-athlete success and retention while connecting student-athletes with available campus resources at FSU and maintaining compliance with NCAA, GLIAC/CCHA, and institutional regulations. Required: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Division I or II intercollegiate athletics department. Demonstrated understanding of NCAA rules and regulations as it relates to academic eligibility.

The candidate will teach a broad spectrum of undergraduate Project Management classes as needed. The Architecture and Facility Management Department seeks applications for a part-time, temporary faculty position. Responsibilities involve teaching one or more courses in the following degree programs: AAS in Architectural Technology, or BS in Architecture and Sustainability, or BS in Facility Management. In addition to the more common topics associated with the degree programs, experience in architectural design, construction detailing and documents utilizing AutoCAD and Revit, digital architectural presentation utilizing software such as Revit, Formit, Autodesk 3DS Max, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator, and/or experience in Facility Management, will be considered. This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis. Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University's Campuses. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment. The anticipated start date of this position is August 2025 at the earliest and January 2026 at the latest. Required: For 100 and 200 level courses: A Bachelor of Science in Architecture. For 300 and 400 level Architecture courses: A NAAB - accredited Bachelor or Master of Architecture, or a Bachelor of Science in Architecture plus a master’s degree in a related field such as building science, design studies, landscape architecture, commensurate with the topic being taught. For 300 and 400 level FM courses: A bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field and a master’s degree in any applicable field, including Education or Business; or a master’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Adjunct Instructor 1 - Product Design Engineering Technology	Multiple Locations
The School of Engineering and Computing Technology invites applications for an adjunct faculty position in the Product Design Engineering Technology program. This position requires teaching undergraduate-level lecture and laboratory coursework in a "hands-on" academic environment. This is a pooled position. Athletics Learning Specialist Graduate Assistant	Big Rapids, MI 49307
This position will assist coaches in identifying at risk student-athletes and supporting academic advisors in assisting athletes in finding services available both on and off campus to help them be more successful in the classroom. This position will be responsible for documenting and collecting data related to student-athlete success focusing on the academic achievement gap of minority student-athletes as compared to other student athletes, all minority students, and the general student population. Pursuant to FSU-HRPP 2005:44, "Students currently admitted on a full-time basis, defined as carrying at least 9 credits per semester, to a Ferris State University graduate program and earning credits toward a graduate degree, may qualify for a Graduate Project Assistant (GPA) position". Required: Bachelor's Degree. Must be enrolled in a Ferris State University Graduate program for Fall 2025 semester. Demonstrated experience working with student athletes.
Enrollment Services Programmer Analyst	Big Rapids, MI 49307
Develop, execute, measure, and evaluate student data and produce accurate reporting and analysis to appropriate personnel for the Enrollment Services Unit, as well as, the University at large. This position utilizes Banner data to enhance existing processes and to create and refine reports germane to the University’s vision and goals. Required: Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university with emphasis in Computer Information Systems or related field. Two years of work experience working with data development, analysis and reporting.

Perform custodial duties independently or within a team environment as assigned providing a high standard of cleanliness. This position is M-F, 5:00 pm - 1:30 am. Required: High school diploma or GED equivalency. Custodial/janitorial work experience in a commercial/hospital/school environment in a commercial cleaning service or completion of the Ferris State University JANUS (custodial) training.

A position classified as a Food Service Worker is available with Dining Services at the Quad Café. This is a 9 month position, beginning on August 18, 2025. The normal working hours are 12:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Friday. Days off are Saturday and Sunday. The employee may be required to work other times, including evenings and/or weekends. If required by job duties, the employee must be able to fulfill the University’s requirements concerning issuance and use of University keys. Personnel who possess the special qualifications and training necessary for this position may apply.
