Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) Grant Project Director - Ferris State University. FSU has been awarded a grant from the U.S. Department of Justice Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) to further a comprehensive coordinated community approach to enhance victim safety, provide services and support for victim/survivors, and support efforts to hold offenders accountable. The funding supports activities that develop and strengthen trauma-informed victim/survivor services and strategies to prevent, investigate, and respond to domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking on campus. The OVW Grant Project Director is a temporary, grant funded, full-time, 12-month position responsible for administering the OVW Campus Program Grant. The Director will serve as point of contact for the OVW Grant for the Department of Justice/OVW, manage implementation of grant programs and activities, lead us in the achievement of mandatory, statutory, and program requirements, attend and participate in all required trainings, and complete all grant reports, assessments, and OVW correspondences. The Department of Manufacturing Engineering Technology invites applications for a 9-month, tenure-track faculty position. Primary responsibilities include: preparing and delivering courses utilizing effective methods that ensure that all course outcomes are met; and delivering courses in both a classroom and an online format.
