Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) Grant Project Director - Ferris State University. FSU has been awarded a grant from the U.S. Department of Justice Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) to further a comprehensive coordinated community approach to enhance victim safety, provide services and support for victim/survivors, and support efforts to hold offenders accountable. The funding supports activities that develop and strengthen trauma-informed victim/survivor services and strategies to prevent, investigate, and respond to domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking on campus. The OVW Grant Project Director is a temporary, grant funded, full-time, 12-month position responsible for administering the OVW Campus Program Grant. The Director will serve as point of contact for the OVW Grant for the Department of Justice/OVW, manage implementation of grant programs and activities, lead us in the achievement of mandatory, statutory, and program requirements, attend and participate in all required trainings, and complete all grant reports, assessments, and OVW correspondences. This position typically works Monday –Thursday 7am-4pm and Friday 8am-12 hrs. can fluctuate based on University calendar and classroom needs.

This is a six-month position from January to June that will work approximately 27 hours per week as an assistant men/women's sprints and jumps coach. The assistant coach will focus on working with sprints, hurdles, long jump and high jump. They will be expected to attend meets, practice and team functions. Katke Golf Course is looking for a part time seasonal help managing outdoor facilities, cart barn, and equipment. Responsibilities will include upkeep of light equipment/supplies, manage/schedule cart maintenance, keep areas clean and organized, assist with closing facilities at the end of shifts.
